A open to public monthly event in the amphitheatre is organized by the Udupi Nirmithi Kendra in collaboration with Prachi trust® to encourage art appreciation and aesthetics .This programs vision covers a wide range right from performing arts to visual arts including screening of experimental cinema
The first event was on date 3-11-2017 and was inaugurated by Amembal Anand the kannada literary personality. That evening witnessed a screening of the Kannada Feature film “Ghata Shradha” by the award winning Kannda Film Director Shri Girish Kasarvalli. Later that evening the audience present interacted with the film maker Girish Kasaravalli.
Further later in the series another Kannda feature film “ HuchhaMunsifa” was screened. Apart from Film screenings Tingalabelaku has also presented stage for art and aesthics appreciation talk by Ravikumar Kashi. A music appreciation session by Shri GururajaMarpali, Yakshagana performance by Yakshagana Kendra Udupi, classical jugal bandhi music performance by Vocalist Bindumalini and Shruthi, etc.
As an extension to this activity Udupi Nirmithi Kendra alongwith Prachi Foundation intiated an annual award for vanishing clan of artisans titled “BisuSamman” from the year 2019. This award in its year of inception was awarded to the potter from Karkala Anu Mulya who is one among the last practionners of pottery in the beaten clay skills tradition
Apart from which Udupi Nirmithi Kendra also hosted the workshop for aboriginal race of Koragas Music revival project by the Prachi Foundation supported by ITDP
